Full Job Description
The opportunity has arisen for an ambitious assistant management accountant to join the Club L London Finance Team, based in Trafford Park, Manchester. This role will be to fully support the busy finance department in ensuring accurate and timely management accounts and line management of a small team., Preparation of monthly Group Management Accounts, including variance analysis against budget and forecast - Preparation of monthly Board Pack submission to stakeholders - Support in the continuous improvement of month-end processes - Analysing and reporting cost drivers, margins, and profitability by product / channel / region - Providing commercial insight and recommendations to support decision-making - Business Partnering with Departmental Heads across the business, supporting with budget overheads and cost control - Support with stat accounts - Identifying opportunities to automate and streamline finance processes - Balance sheet reconciliations - Ad-hoc reporting and analysis
CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified - Advanced Excel skills - Previous experience of at least 5 years finance/industry department - Ability to meet deadlines and work with colleagues to ensure work is delivered on time - Results driven and detail oriented - Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) - Experience using AI-enabled tools to support financial analysis, reporting, or process efficiency (Desirable)
