This is an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join the expanding Finance department of Agincare, a proud family-run organization that provides high-quality care services across the UK. The role involves delivering high-quality financial analysis, overseeing management accounting activities, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business., As the Management Accountant, you will be a key member of the finance team, responsible for providing ongoing support to the team, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions, maintaining stakeholder relationships, preparing monthly management accounts, assisting with the annual budget and audit process, and ensuring timely submission of all management and regulatory reporting., Package Description: We do not offer visa sponsorship.We cannot accept applications from candidates on a Skilled Worker visa., As Management Accountant, youll be a key member of the finance team, responsible for delivering high-quality financial analysis, overseeing management accounting activities, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business. Key Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing support to members of the finance team, ensuring achievement of the teams targets
- Record accurate and timely transactions on the accounting system
- Maintain good working relationships and provide excellent customer service to all internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare monthly management accounts for various group companies. This includes the following:
- Oversee the closing of the ledgers
- Prepare and post monthly journals
- Post accruals / prepayments
- Update fixed asset registers
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Prepare other detailed reports and workings
- Assist with the annual budget and audit process
- Ensure timely submission/completion of all management reporting and regulatory reporting What Were Looking For Were after a confident, qualified finance professional (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) with solid experience in management accounting and a sharp eye for both detail and strategy.Youll be fluent in Excel, familiar with ERP systems like Netsuite or SAP, and comfortable presenting financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
