We are looking for caring, reliable and confident Male Support Workers to join a small team supporting an individual who lives at home with their family in Poole. This person has Learning Disability, Autism and behaviours that may present as challenging - and they rely on a consistent team who truly understand them. The person we support attends attend important activities such as music therapy andhydrotherapy, so you'll need to be confident in water.This person loves getting out and making the most of life. Whether it's a day trip, a walk around town, a bit of shopping, or a visit to the park, staying active and engaged is a big part of their routine. From time to time, they also enjoy heading out for a meal and even the occasional pint. They live independently in their own home and have access to a car, so being able to drive and holding a full UK driving licence is essential. What You'll Need - Experience supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities and behaviours that challenge, Autism, Mental Health needs.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Confidence in managing and de-escalating challenging situations
- Full UK driving licence
Pay rate: £14.18 per hour- Weekly or Monthly Pay Available! Shift pattern: 08:00am- 18:00pm; 10:00am -20:00pm Hours: 24 hours Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence
