Male Support Worker Job Overview
Location: Whitstable, Kent
Hourly Rate: £15.62 to £17.52 per hour
Shifts available: 10 hours per week, including 5 hours on Wednesday and 5 hours scheduled flexibly.

- Previous care experience
- Full UK driving licence to drive clients Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) (essential)

About the Male Support Worker Role:
Continuity of Care Services is looking for compassionate and dedicated Male Support Worker to support our 50s male client living with complex health needs. Our client is non- verbal and has cerebral palsy, again experience is beneficial but not essential. You will be offering companionship and emotional support to our vulnerable service user in the community. You would provide safe, person- centered support to boost our client's independence, well- being and help him live his life the way he want to. For this role we specifically looking for a Male Support Worker due to the client's and family wishes. He would love to go out and enjoy various activities including swimming, boxing or other community- based programs with a great fella.
Our clients requirements:
- Moving and handling
- Peg Feed- nutrition
- Positive Behaviour Support (preferred but training will be given)
- Personal care
Male Support Worker Requirements
To be a great Support Worker for Continuity of Care Services, you should be:
- Friendly, kind with good observation skills and confidence
- Punctual, reliable, organised
- Open- minded and willing to try a variety of activities
- Hard- working
- Able to remain calm under pressure
- Confident driver
