Summary

• Hours: 12-hour shifts 36 - 48 hours per week


• Monday - Sunday


• Rota Basis 24/7


• Working hours are - 8am - 8pm or 8pm - 8am


• Must be able to support with short notice, holiday, and sickness cover.


• Pay Rate: £13.70 per hour. Probation period 6 months.


• Area: Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne

A fantastic opportunity to join an established care and support team supporting an individual in his own home.

Purpose of Job

I have advanced Parkinson's Disease. I am looking for an honest, reliable, hardworking individual to provide personal physical and practical support.

You will need to be friendly, patient, and calm with a consistent approach to the role.

You will be proactive and able to work under minimum supervision.

I have many interests. I love all types of sport (although football remains my favourite).

Experience is not essential but desirable; it is more important to be willing to learn about Parkinson's and how to support me.

You will be expected to have had or be prepared to have the COVID-19 vaccine and boosters.

Good understanding as well as good spoken English is necessary in this role.
