Full Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and enthusiastic male Personal Assistant (PA) to provide community-based support to an adult with learning disabilities and ADHD.
The successful candidate will have experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and be confident in delivering person-centred support that promotes independence while ensuring safety and wellbeing.
Supporting access to the local community and meaningful activities.
Recognising signs of anxiety and distress and responding appropriately using distraction, de-escalation and emotional regulation strategies.
Providing positive behaviour support and maintaining a calm, consistent approach.
Promoting independence while providing appropriate supervision and risk management within the community.
Supporting safe and positive social interactions.
Understanding and promoting online safety.
