Male PE Teacher

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Physical Education to join our committed and supportive team at The Newbridge School. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated male teacher to further develop his practice within a nurturing and collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across a range of sports and physical activities, inspiring students to develop a lifelong commitment to health, fitness, and teamwork. He will work closely with experienced colleagues, pastoral teams, and wider professionals to support students in overcoming barriers to participation and learning, ensuring they achieve their full potential. This role is ideal for an individual who demonstrates enthusiasm, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to promoting physical wellbeing and sporting excellence.

As part of his role, he will plan and deliver high-quality practical and theoretical lessons, assess and monitor student progress, and contribute to a varied extracurricular programme, including school teams, fixtures, and clubs. He will support learners of all abilities, including those with additional needs, and play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, resilience, and confidence. The successful candidate will create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where all students can thrive physically, socially, and emotionally.
