Male PA / Carer Arabic speaking needed for young man with Physical Disability in Worsley SM-SC-001

A caring and reliable male Arabic-speaking Personal Assistant/Carer is required to support a 20-year-old young man with limited English who predominantly communicates in Arabic. The ideal candidate must understand Iraqi culture to provide culturally appropriate support and personal care when required. Contract Type Part Time Permanent Roles and Responsibilities Assist with showering, dressing, and personal care Provide support with toileting needs Safely manoeuvre and support the use of a specialist wheelchair Support access to the community, local activities, and groups Encourage independence and social interaction Communicate effectively in Arabic Provide culturally appropriate care and support in line with Iraqi culture Offer companionship and emotional support Ensure safety, dignity, and wellbeing are maintained at all times Provide respite support for the family/carer

Male Arabic speaker Understanding of Iraqi culture Physically fit and strong enough to safely manoeuvre a specialist wheelchair Caring, patient, respectful, and reliable Experience in care/support work preferred

Required Training First Aid and DBS preferred. Experience essential. Advert Details Employer Gender Male Hourly Rate £12.71 Hours Per Week15.5 hours per week How will the hours be used:

• 12.5 Hours 1 x 30-minute call per day x 7 to assist Shan with showering and personal care
• 3 Hours x 2 days a week to support Shan in the community, and give mum a break from her caring role, Shan needs support to access the community attend groups
