Full Job Description

To deliver the provision of services within the Make Ready Hub delivering excellent clinical care for patients by ensuring the right equipment, products and vehicles are available at the right place, at the right time. oSupervise a team of Make Ready Technicians (MRT) to carry out cleaning, refuelling, movement and restocking of front line vehicles. oSupervise a team of Make Ready Technicians (MRT) to pack consumables into pouches, using defined processes. oThe post holder will be required to utilise the asset management system (Pro Cloud) to ensure timely replenishment of equipment and consumable items, assign assets to vehicles, and record vehicle preparations. oThe post holder will be required to ensure consumable items are replenished over a number of remote sites, to minimise operational down-time for ambulance operational colleagues restocking oTo interpret detailed information using Trust electronic systems such as Current Status and the Business Intelligence (BI) Portal, and use this data to allocate tasks to the MRT and vehicles for operational use. oTo maintain regular contact with Group Management Teams, Fleet, Logistics, Workshop staff and other central support functions to resolve issues that may be complex, to maximise patient facing time for ambulance operation colleagues., On a shift by shift basis organise the team and work schedule to ensure delivery of clean fully stocked and refuelled vehicles; to deliver routine and planned activities.o Allocate tasks to team members in a fair and equitable way and ensure they are completed to standard.o Communicates work procedures, assisting with induction of new staff, maintains working relationships with own and other departments, trains and motivates staff to achieve objectives. Proposes changes to support service improvement and development.o To plan ahead to ensure there are sufficient staff and made ready vehicles to meet the operational requirements.o Ability to self-manage workload and priorities without direct supervision, Our strategy 2023-2028 outlines how we plan to achieve this, and is centred upon three missions focused on:
