Make Ready Assistant

The post holder will be responsible for cleaning and decontaminating the interior and exterior of WAST Emergency Vehicles to a national standard and comply with national infection prevention control measures. Person Specification Skills and Attributes Essential

• Basic IT, keyboard and VDU skills.
  
  As there will also be a requirement for the post holder to move WAST Emergency Vehicles across Ambulance Service Stations, there will be a requirement for them to hold a C1 driving license with no more than three penalty points.
The role will involve shift working including weekends and bank holidays. Applicants should have experience of working within a team environment to achieve deadlines, have an eye for detail and be customer focused. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. Selection will be via interview and driving assessment. If invited to interview, candidates will be required to bring a C1 driving license with photograph and obtain a code off the DVLA website for the driving license to be checked.,

• Good knowledge of the Highway Code.
• Experience of Infection Prevention Control measures., Full UK driving licence including C1 with a maximum of 3 endorsement points and no convictions for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
