We are looking for a new team member to join us as an Maintenance Worker at our Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre. This is a casual position and will be a 0 hour contract - You will be required to attend as and when needed.
Location: Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre
It\'s important to us that you feel part of our team from the start. We like to keep in touch with regular check-ins and team meetings. There\'s always a teammate around for support or a quick chat.

What a day might look like for you
- We are ideally looking for an individual who has experience within manual labour, specifically plumbing.
- Routine maintenance and repairs of buildings - cattery, wildlife hospital and associated enclosures, sheds and aviaries
- General gardening of grounds
- Plumbing experience essential to this position
- Carpentry and masonry skills beneficial
What will help you succeed in this role:
- Experience with a wide range of power tools is essential
- Problem-solving skills
- Experience working with volunteers
- Health and Safety knowledge
- A full driving license
Successful candidates for certain RSPCA roles will need to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK as we are unable to sponsor visas.
