We are looking for a new team member to join us as an Maintenance Worker at our Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre. This is a casual position and will be a 0 hour contract - You will be required to attend as and when needed.

Location: Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre

What a day might look like for you

• We are ideally looking for an individual who has experience within manual labour, specifically plumbing.
• Routine maintenance and repairs of buildings - cattery, wildlife hospital and associated enclosures, sheds and aviaries
• General gardening of grounds
• Plumbing experience essential to this position
• Carpentry and masonry skills beneficial

What will help you succeed in this role:

• Experience with a wide range of power tools is essential
• Problem-solving skills
• Experience working with volunteers
• Health and Safety knowledge
• A full driving license

Successful candidates for certain RSPCA roles will need to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
