Full Job Description

Talbot House Children's Charity are looking to recruit an additional Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Reporting to the HR Manager, the role forms part of a team of three Maintenance Technicians. The Maintenance Team is responsible for maintaining the Charity's internal and external premises to an exceptionally high standard. This includes carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs, while ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures. The role contributes to providing a safe, well-maintained, and fully functional environment for all staff, pupils, young people and visitors which will from time to time have involvement with larger scale projects, in addition to the hands on requirements of the role.

Our school is a non-maintained specialist school with a roll of 70 pupils, all with Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs) and complex needs. We have approximately 8 acres of land, and we are excited to continue to offer the best environment for our pupils to be successful.

Hours of work are: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4.00pm.

Salary: £30,458.91 per annum, working 40 hours per week.
