Maintenance Manager

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the safe, compliant delivery of hard FM services in a pharmaceutical setting, overseeing engineering, maintenance and compliance teams. You'll drive performance against SLAs/KPIs while ensuring regulatory and GMP/GxP standards. You will build a high-performing team culture, manage client governance and budgets, and steer continuous improvement focused on asset reliability and safety. • Lead day-to-day hard FM service delivery including mechanical/electrical maintenance, critical utilities, and compliance programmes Ensure services are safe, efficient, and aligned with SLAs/KPIs; foster high performance Maintain compliance with UK regulations (PSSR, LOLER, PUWER, Legionella), GMP/GxP, and client standards; support audits Monitor KPIs (PPM, reactive maintenance, asset reliability, customer satisfaction) and drive improvement using data Lead, develop and coach teams; promote a One Team culture with training plans Manage client relationships, governance and reporting; ensure requirements are understood and delivered Support P&L, budgets, cost control, subcontractors; identify value-add opportunities Champion health, safety and environmental compliance; manage risks, incidents and root-cause analysis Drive continuous improvement (Lean, reliability) and embed best practices Tasks Proven Operations Manager experience in hard services FM Strong technical understanding of engineering maintenance and critical systems Experience in regulated environments with KPI management Key requirements
