Job DescriptionLocation: BournemouthPay: £35,000-£42,000 depending on experienceBenefits: Company Car DWP Housing Partnership is a well-established private landlord based in Bournemouth, managing a portfolio of over 3,000 properties. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our Re-Let operations and play a key role in ensuring our properties are ready to a high standard for new tenants. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll manage a large team, oversee property turnaround, and ensure compliance, quality, and efficiency across all re-let activities. The RoleAs our Re-Let Maintenance Manager, you'll take ownership of preparing void properties for new tenants. You'll lead a team of around 35 operatives, coordinate contractors, and work closely with internal teams and local councils to ensure properties are ready on time and to standard. You'll report directly to the Head of Maintenance and play a crucial role in maintaining quality,
compliance, and operational performance. What You'll Be DoingProperty Readiness & ComplianceEnsure all certifications (EPC, Gas, NIC, Asbestos) are in place before handoverLiaise with contractors to meet deadlinesArrange asbestos surveys where required Inspections & Tenant InteractionCarry out pre- and final inspections of propertiesManage tenant expectations, charges, and deposit deductionsHandle disputes and agree practical resolutionsCoordinate repairs and prioritise re-let schedulesSupport tenants with post move-in issues Team & Operational ManagementLead, support and develop a team of operativesConduct appraisals and manage performanceOversee fleet vehicles, maintenance and trackingReview invoices, monitor costs and ensure efficiency Health & Safety & QualityEnsure all works meet Health & Safety standardsCarry out site visits to monitor progress and complianceAddress structural or regulatory concerns Coordination & CommunicationKeep accurate property recordsWork closely with
