Full Job Description
- Deliver/improve hard service delivery in a cost-effective format, examine and revaluating existing staff resources
- Deliver/improve upon hard service delivery the management of the subcontract delivery working closely with the ACM and CM to support fix first time ethos utilizing existing company processes.
- Provide the necessary data and interpret management information to monitor performance of the hard services.
- Ensure Compliance through planned audits, inspections of sites or escalated to management.
- Ensure all Compliance records up to date and available at all times on each site or escalated to management if any blockers exist.
- Ensure the CAFM system is managed and kept up to date with relevant details. Utilizing support of team.
- All jobs to be progressed in a timely manner to enable contractual obligations to be met with KPIs and central services to progress billing where necessary in avoiding penalties.
- Produce up-to-date ad hoc reports on services managing CAFM for all tasks planned and reactive works
- Maintain buildings and sites across the contract as required
- Take ownership of maintenance delivery and compliance at all sites
- Ensure FES policies and procedures are being adhered to and where necessary escalate if any blockers exist.
- Be on call for escalations
- Approving on call rota with liaison Supervisor
- Managing of maintenance team
- Ensure all staff are competent and fully supported in all tasks
- Ensure training and refresher courses are planned and implemented to FES FM
- Assist in allocation of tasks to engineers with Supervisor.
- Prioritize own workload
- Managing of subcontractors as required
The role requires you to be highly effective communicator, to have a real understanding of PFI contracts and operations and have the ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver results. A confident and experienced professional who is not shy of making their point and objective known., Ideally have a minimum of 3 years managerial or acting manager experience in building maintenance and or Facilities management - Previous trade training in M&E and experience essential
- Use and plan your time to meet the requirements of the daily and weekly working, and assisting colleagues
- Capable of competently using the IT provided
- Be prepared to complete any task requested of you in the maintenance and support of the Contract implementation
- Attend training as required to enhance management and technical skills
- Good knowledge of H&S (formal training preferred)
- Attend monthly site meetings with client
- Create monthly reports for each site for ACM and CM support
