Maintenance Joiner

We are looking for a Maintenance Joiner to join our Maintenance Team on a 6 month fixed term contract to undertake a range of carpentry, joinery and maintenance tasks. Whilst you will be based in Nottingham, Shakespeare Street, there may be times you may be required to travel to other locations across Nottinghamshire when required to support. You can expect your day-to-day role to include:

• Undertaking a range of carpentry, and joinery tasks such as flooring, skirting boards, architraves, stud walls, kitchen units.
• Carrying out repairs and general maintenance, preventative and planned.
• When required, undertaking a range of other maintenance tasks, including plumbing, painting.
• Undertaking room renovations including decoration, floor coverings.
  
  You will have experience of working in a qualified trade position as a joiner / carpenter and possibly have broader experience if
you have worked in a maintenance or caretaking in a work environment. You will have a broad range of practical skills and be that person everyone turns to when something breaks. A relevant trade qualification to at least level 2 in joinery and / or carpentry e.g. Level 2 / 3 Diploma in Site Carpentry, NVQ 2 / 3 in Carpentry and Joinery, level 2/3 Bench Joinery, is also highly desirable. We are happy to support in putting you through additional qualifications to support your experience too, giving opportunities to develop skills.
