Maintenance and Health Bus Driver - General Practice

Riverside Health Partnership seeks a part-time, motivated and dedicated professional to work with our excellent team of managers under the direction of the Compliance and Estates Manager and GP Partners., The Maintenance Assistant and Health Bus Driver will provide a practical, reliable and responsive maintenance, estates and driving service across the Practice

The postholder will assist in ensuring that Practice premises, facilities, fixtures, fittings and equipment are maintained in a safe condition, are fit for purpose and provide an appropriate environment for patients, staff and visitors

A key element of the role will be responsibility for the day-to-day operation, driving, preparation, cleanliness and routine checking of the Practice Health Bus. The postholder will ensure that the vehicle is maintained internally and externally to an excellent standard and that appropriate safety, maintenance, cleaning and operational checks are undertaken and documented.

The postholder will undertake detailed vehicle cleaning and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) activities, monitor consumables and equipment held within the vehicle and ensure that required vehicle documentation, including pre- and post-use checks, is accurately completed.

When not required to undertake Health Bus or other driving duties, the postholder will support the Compliance and Estates Manager with the maintenance and upkeep of Practice premises, facilities, fixtures and fittings.

The postholder will work within their level of competence at all times and will report or escalate work requiring specialist skills or appropriately qualified contractors.

Riverside Health Partnership is a very friendly, supportive and well-run, 4-site training practice of over 23,000 patients based in Bassetlaw. The primary site is Retford, a North Notts market town, by the A1 with other sites at Misterton and Gringley (bordering SE Lincs ans S Yorks) and Harworth (ex mining town off the A1 nr Doncaster).
