ROLE: Maintenance Fitter

HOURS: 08:00 - 16:00 Monday - Friday

SALARY: £32,801.60 plus excellent benefits

BASE: Site Based - Eurocell, Clover Nook Site, Somercotes

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Fitter to join our team based at our Clover Nook Site, in Somercotes, Alfreton.

In this role, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and installation of mechanical components and structures, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. You will interpret technical drawings and use a range of tools and machinery to support maintenance and operational efficiency across the site.

WHAT OUR MAINTENANCE FITTERS DO:

• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical instructions


• Fabricate and assemble mechanical components and structures


• Install and maintain machinery and equipment


• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance activities


• Use a range of hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery safely and effectively


• Diagnose faults and implement effective repair solutions


• Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR MAINTENANCE FITTERS:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter or within a similar role


• Strong ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings


• Experience working with mechanical systems and equipment


• MIG and TIG experience


• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail


• Relevant engineering qualification (Apprentice trained or equivalent)
