This is a site-based role within a manufacturing / production environment, focused on keeping production machinery and factory infrastructure running safely and reliably. The role involves planned maintenance, reactive breakdowns and diagnostics.
This role suits a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer from a manufacturing, production or industrial background who can work independently on machinery breakdowns, PPMs, fault finding and reliability improvements.
There is also clear scope for progression as the company continues to digitalise and improve its manufacturing processes.
The Role:Carry out planned preventative maintenance across production machinery and site servicesRespond to machinery breakdowns and minimise production downtimeDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic faultsWork on press brakes, laser cutting machinery, CNC / production equipment, fabrication machinery and electrical assembly equipmentSupport machine moves, installations, equipment modifications and commissioningMonday to Thursday only, 9.75 hours per day
The Person:Multi-Skilled EngineerManufacturing, production or industrial maintenance backgroundAble to maintain, fault-find and repair production machineryStrong diagnostic ability across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systemsAble to carry out PPMs and reactive breakdown repairs independentlyComfortable working with production teams to reduce downtime and improve machinery reliabilityRelevant engineering qualification such as HNC, HND, NVQ Level 3, apprenticeship or equivalent in electro-mechanical engineering, maintenance engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similarOpen to mechanical or electrical bias, provided there is genuine hands-on multi-skilled abilityBenefits:Friday, Saturday and Sunday off every week9.75 hours per day (flexibility on start times) Site-based role with no mobile travelProgression into Tehcnical Manageent as the company undergoes an expansion periodVaried production machineryManufacturing environmentMechanical, electrical,
