Full Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Assistant to join our client a boutique group of hotels in East London (E1) with an immediate start.
Weekly pay
Mainly Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as required.
Duties include:
Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs across the properties
Assisting with planned preventative maintenance, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and general building maintenance
Responding promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshooting issues
Identifying and reporting defects or health & safety hazards
Supporting the Maintenance Manager with emergency repairs
Maintaining tools, equipment and maintenance records
Following health & safety procedures at all times
Previous maintenance or facilities experience
Good all-round maintenance skills and the ability to work independently
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs
Good knowledge of domestic appliances (highly beneficial)
A proactive attitude and excellent problem-solving skills
