Maintenance Assistant

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the services facilities are fit for purpose, gardening and will regularly conduct audits to identify and repair any faults ensuring a safe environment for service users, staff and visitors. Working alongside an established team, you will turn your hand to all maintenance-related tasks, liaising with contractors to support the upkeep of the service. career goals., As a Maintenance Assistant, you will assist with ensuring that the service, buildings, facilities, and equipment requirements are maintained and fit for purpose. You will utilize good DIY skills to ensure the safety of service users is maintained. Responsibilities include assisting in regular checks and maintenance, repairing and maintaining buildings, assisting in all decorating, and liaising with a manager to report all faults and defects. You will participate in a one-week retaining on-call rota for the purposes of emergency maintenance, coordinate and support contractors onsite, and complete all associated paperwork and tool checks. Attending and participating in training sessions and staff meetings is also required.
