Full Job Description
Barnet Children's Integrated Therapies are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, innovative and self-motivated Occupational Therapist to join our service. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of the Occupational Therapy Service for children and young people in mainstream schools, while managing a varied and rewarding clinical caseload across the community. This Band 7 role is ideal for an experienced clinician skilled in interdisciplinary working who is ready to take on greater leadership responsibility, including providing high-quality clinical supervision, oversight and day to day support to junior OTs., This post involves working with children and young people aged 4-19 years across a range of settings, including mainstream schools and clinic environments, supporting those with needs from mild to more complex. You will work independently while being part of a friendly, open, supportive and experienced therapy team. You will be responsible for the development of the mainstream schools service which will involve working closely with key stakeholders and the Local Authority to drive high quality Occupational Therapy support in schools. A key focus of this role is providing clinical leadership in supporting children with motor based needs and physical disabilities, ensuring best-practice assessment, intervention and service development in this area.,

We have 1 part time (0.8 WTE) fixed term position available for the successful candidate to join our Children's Integrated Therapies (CIT) Team, providing an innovative service to children and families in Barnet. Please note a strong Band 6 who is working towards a Band 7 role will be considered as a development opportunity. Alternative working hours and patterns will be considered for this post.
