Full Job Description
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring production machinery to ensure efficient and consistent output. You will play a key role in maintaining product quality, supporting production targets, and ensuring equipment is run safely and effectively. What you'll be doing
- Setting up and operating production machinery in line with manufacturing specifications.
- Loading materials and monitoring machine performance during production runs.
- Carrying out routine quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
- Identifying and reporting faults, with basic troubleshooting where appropriate.
- Accurately completing production and quality documentation.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Working closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to keep operations running smoothly.
Previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing or production environment - Good understanding of production processes and machine operation
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot quality issues
- Mechanically minded with good problem-solving skills
- Awareness of health and safety procedures in a manufacturing setting Please note This role is suited to candidates who already have hands-on machine operating experience.
