Machine Minder

Setting up and maintaining All line machinery & computer equipment at the beginning of the shift and throughout

Ensuring the machinery is adjusted to the required setting for each specific job on the plan

Keeping areas stocked with consumables

Endeavour to keep waste levels to an absolute minimum and continuously work to reduce these levels.

Overseeing department activity, by ensuring all aspects of the area are running at the correct pace.

Cleaning and maintaining machinery and work areas to be at a high standard at all times.

Attend daily meetings when required or in the absence of the Line Leader

Previous experience as Machine Minder or similar role within Food Manufacturing environment is desirable., be a proactive self-starter with strong interpersonal, prioritisation and communication skills

have demonstrable experience of Health, Safety and Environmental issues

be a team player

be a good mechanical background

have positive attitude

have the ability to work with minimal supervision

5 out of 6 days

7:00 am to 15:30 pm

In your role you will ensure that all equipment is operated correctly and efficiently, whilst carrying out appropriate frontline maintenance to maintain and improve the equipment performance and maximise product output whilst maintaining product quality.
