Full Job Description
As a Machine Driver/Operative in our Sandwell team you'll manage the acceptance of waste, control the traffic flow around site and load waste onto artic lorries using shovel loaders in a safe and timely manner.
You'll be entrusted to:
To carry out the loading of all waste materials in and out of the site
To assist with the traffic direction and efficient movement of vehicles on site whilst ensuring a safe working environment
Responsible for the daily inspection, general maintenance and reporting procedure - of all plant and vehicles prior to and on completion of usage
To understand Serco Contractual requirements
- of refuse & recycling.Responsible for the cleanliness of the Eagle Recovery and Transfer Hub site - the building, plant, equipment, vehicle wash and general site area

Hold a valid driving licence
Experience around Plant, Machinery and within a transfer station is desirable
Physically fit and healthy due to the nature of the business
Prepared to go on call out of hours for the site on a rota
Self-motivated
Willingness to undertake further training
