Summary

Equans is looking for an M&E Technician with an Electrical bias to join our team at West Middlesex University Hospital, London. This is a full time role with participation in an on call rota. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

  • Complete planned and reactive maintenance across electrical systems and associated equipment
  • Carry out repairs, refurbishment, new works and backlog maintenance tasks
  • Maintain HVAC, gas, medical gas, steam, catering and plant room equipment
  • Respond to breakdowns, complete PAT testing and follow all safety and compliance requirements

Who are you?

  • Experienced in maintaining electrical systems, plant and equipment
  • Able to complete planned and reactive maintenance within your training and competence
  • Knowledgeable in building services, including HVAC, gas, medical gas, steam and catering equipment
  • Able to complete PAT testing and work in line with BS 7671 requirements
  • Reliable, safety conscious and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • A clear communicator who can work effectively with colleagues and contractors
  • Willing to complete training and qualify as an Authorised Person or Competent Person
  • Able to support the development of assistants, operatives, trainees and apprentices
  • Willing to participate in the on call rota and occasional overtime
