Full Job Description
We are looking for an experienced M&E Site Manager to oversee the delivery of M&E services on a major commercial construction project. The successful candidate will manage day to day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and trades, ensure health & safety compliance, and drive the project through to successful completion. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional team delivering high quality commercial developments. M&E Site Manager Key Responsibilities
- Manage all mechanical and electrical works on site from installation through to commissioning and handover
- Coordinate M&E subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards
- Monitor progress against programme and report to the Project Manager
- Chair and attend coordination and progress meetings
- Review drawings, specifications, technical submissions, and RAMS
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
- Conduct quality inspections and manage snagging activities
- Coordinate with other trades and the wider construction team
- Support commissioning, testing, and client handover processes
- Maintain accurate site records and progress reports
Proven experience as an M&E Site Manager on commercial construction projects - Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services installations
- Experience managing HVAC, pipework, electrical distribution, containment, lighting, and associated systems
- SMSTS qualification
- Valid CSCS Card
- SMSTS
- First Aid certification preferred
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence preferred
