Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse or AHP to join our small, experienced dedicated community nurse led Lymphoedema service.
The service provides specialist advice to patients on the management of lymphoedema, chronic oedema and lipoedema across the borough of Enfield. We provide Nurse led clinics daily in a variety of settings and visit the housebound patients at home or in residential and nursing homes.
The post holder will take a leading role in the management, development, and efficient running of the Lymphoedema service. The post holder will be providing specialist lymphoedema advice, support, education and training to patients, carers and health care staff & professionals based on knowledge of relevant evidence, current research, good practice guidance.
The post holder will need to demonstrate understanding of the causes of and management of chronic oedema, lipoedema, primary and secondary Lymphoedema. To carry a clinical caseload, working to a high professional standard, using advanced clinical and theoretical knowledge and skills to work as an autonomous practitioner, maintaining associated record keeping .

In addition to a full range of cancer diagnosis and treatment services, the Helen Rollason Cancer Support Centre is based on-site and provides services to support cancer patients' wellbeing. We also provide community services and have a dedicated 0-19 service for children and young people in Enfield so that they can get the best possible start in life. This includes health visitors and school nurses who are delivering the national Healthy Child Programme, which provides a structured framework for the delivery of key interventions to support the health and wellbeing of children and families from 0 to 5 and school aged children from 5-19.
