Lunchtime Supervisory Assistants

Selwood Academy are looking to appoint two enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisory Assistants.Monday - FridayWorking 1 hour 10 mins per dayTerm time onlyGrade 1 SCP 3-4 (£13.28 per hour - £13.48 per hour)Main Responsibilities and Duties:To assist in setting up and clearing away the dining area daily, assembling tables, putting out chairs and sweeping floors.Direct supervision of pupils during the lunch breakTo ensure pupils are well behaved in the school, in adverse weather conditionsWhere pupil conflicts arise deal with in the appropriate manner, being aware of bullying behaviourUnderstand the appropriate laid down course of action in cases of personal injury to pupilsFirst Aid as requiredTo attend a termly meeting with the line managerTo be willing to work extra time for events such as the Christmas mealPrevious experience of working in a school would be helpful but full training will be given.Closing date: Monday 16th November 2026 (9am)Interview: Thursday 26th November 2026 (please
