Come and join our fantastic team of Lunchtime Supervisors at Ibstock Junior School. At Ibstock Junior School, we believe that education is about nurturing the whole child. By joining our team, you'll be helping us build a positive school experience for every pupil-while working alongside friendly, supportive colleagues. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Supervision of children throughout the midday lunch break (timings 11:45-13:00 Mon-Fri)
- Helping with supervision in the dining hall, during the service of meals, ensuring good eating habits and table manners.
- Plan and deliver games with the children on the playground, encourage group play.
- To resolve any behavioural issues efficiently following the guidance of the senior leaders.
- Care for sick children and those with minor injuries/ailments, providing basic first aid treatment when required
Experience working with children with varying ages and backgrounds - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organise activities that engage children
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A first aid qualification or be willing to undertake training
