Full Job Description
Whitefield Primary School is a large primary school with 340 pupils located in Penwortham, Lancashire. We are looking to appoint a lunchtime play worker to join our lunchtime team. The contract will be for a mimimum variable contract of 5 hours a week however from April 26 to March 27 the hours will be 7.5 hours per week. These hours may continue however it is dependant on funding. We are an OPAL platinium school (Outdoor Play and Learning) and we are seeking a person who is hardworking and passionate about outdoor play and also someone who has a caring nature and a desire to make the pupils lunchtime a happy, safe and fun experience. They will be organised, show a high level of understanding children and able to display a full awareness of confidentiality. Experience of primary aged children would be an advantage. You will be expected to engage and oomplete playworker training, first aid training and attend OPAL play meetings which are held every term.
