Full Job Description
I am a young woman looking for personal assistant so I can be more independent. I have Cerebral Palsy and would like to start doing more things myself. I know what I need but need some support with completing the tasks which is where your assistance would be valued. I need a personal assistant who can cook and prepare food the way I need, i.e. mashed well so that I can eat safely, and tasty! Nothing flash, just plain simple food. Additional hours from 9.30 up to 15.30 may also be available at times, to support me when out and about, for example, going to the cinema or out for a meal. Ideal candidates would be highly organised with a methodical approach, as a strict routine is important to me. An understanding of Cerebral Palsy would be an advantage but is not essential. There is also use of a hoist for which full training would be given. If you are able to drive my adapted van that would also be a bonus!
