This is a locum appointment for a consultant in Luminal Gastroenterology and General Internal Medicine. This post and has been created in response to a gap which occurred at short notice. The successful applicant will join a team of 7 Luminal Gastroenterologists and 6 Hepatologists and is based at Bristol Royal Infirmary., This is a locum appointment for a consultant in Luminal Gastroenterology and General Internal Medicine (GIM). The successful applicant will join a well-established team of 7 Luminal Gastroenterologists and 6 Hepatologists, based at Bristol Royal Infirmary (BRI).
BRI provides a regional Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) service, and the post holder will be expected to deliver high-quality care to patients with complex Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and intestinal failure. The department also provides regional Bowel Cancer Screening and works closely with colleagues in Colorectal, Upper GI, and HPB Surgery, as well as the regional Oncology service., people and vulnerable adults.
