Full Job Description

  • Deliver high-quality analysis to support strategic and operational safeguarding priorities
  • Turn complex datasets into clear, engaging, and actionable insights
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations that influence decision-making
  • Work closely with partners to define analytical needs and shape projects from start to finish
  • Explore new data sources and improve how intelligence is gathered across the partnership
  • Lead on the LSCP Performance Scorecard and contribute to wider intelligence products
  • Use innovative techniques such as data visualisation, socio-demographic analysis, and mapping to bring data to life
  • Build strong relationships across agencies and act as a trusted analytical expert

    We're seeking someone who combines technical analytical expertise with curiosity, creativity, and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children.
    • You'll bring:
  • Experience working in an analytical role (public or third sector ideally)
  • Strong critical thinking skills-able to question, interpret, and challenge data
  • Confidence working with tools such as Excel, dashboards, and data visualisation software
  • Excellent communication skills-you can explain complex ideas clearly to any audience
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset and ability to work independently
  • A good understanding of safeguarding issues and the importance of partnership working
    • Desirable (but not essential):
  • Experience in partnership environments
  • Knowledge of Power BI or advanced analytical tools, In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
