LRB Teaching Assistant New

This role would suit someone who enjoys building strong relationships with pupils and is confident supporting children with additional learning needs, challenging behaviour and 1:1 support. What you'll be doing:

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Helping pupils access learning in a way that works for them
• Supporting communication, behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Encouraging independence and confidence
• Working alongside the class teacher and wider support team
• Helping create a calm, structured and positive classroom environment
  
  Supply Hive Wales are working with a welcoming primary school in CF23 who are looking for a confident and experienced TA to join their LRB team., A relevant Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Supporting Teaching & Learning, CCLD or Health & Social Care qualification, HLTA qualification, or relevant Childhood/Education degree
• Previous experience supporting children with ALN, challenging behaviour or in a 1:1 setting
• A patient, consistent and nurturing approach
• Confidence working as part of a team
Other Requirements:
• DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service (Or willingness to obtain)
• 2 professional references
• The right to work in the UK
• Be 18 or over
  
  £93-£100 per day
• 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday (Term time only)
• CF23, Cardiff
