Full Job Description

- Produce Strategic / Tactical plans through routing systems ensuring optimal solutions are achieved from both a cost and service level perspective
- Significant personal contribution towards optimisation activities that drive cost down solutions without affecting service levels.
- Data Analysis to forecast future and retrospective volumes to assess impact to freight plans.
- To investigate operational challenges & data discrepancies and provide solutions in a timely manner
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with the customer and internal colleagues to ensure all targets are met
- Accurate management of network changes and additional / cancelled collections on a daily basis
A good degree of computer literacy, with a comprehensive working knowledge of MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word - Knowledge of DHL systems specifically OTM / Paragon / Coupa & customer system SAP / CMMS.
- Previous experience in freight planning based role.
