Full Job Description

We are looking for a Logistics Operative (Forklift & Crane Operator) to support the Logistics Team Leader and production teams with the safe and efficient movement of materials and buildings, including waste management, in line with the factory programme.,

  • Operate forklift and crane equipment safely and complete pre-use checks.
  • Move, load, unload and position materials/buildings to support daily production.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental procedures and RAMS.
  • Carry out material quality/state checks and report defects.
  • Support Just in Time (JIT) material supply and stock control.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards and storage efficiency.
  • Stock counting
  • Communicate effectively with DC, Stores and production teams.

    Experience in warehouse, factory, or material handling environments.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Valid forklift licence (counterbalance/reach).
  • Desirable Requirements:
  • Crane operation experience.
  • MEWP / IPAF certification.
  • Experience in a construction or manufacturing environment., Experience in warehouse, factory, or material handling environments.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Valid forklift licence (counterbalance/reach).
  • Desired criteria
  • Crane operation experience.
  • MEWP / IPAF certification.
  • Experience in a construction or manufacturing environment.
