Logistics Operative

We have supported the C-130 Hercules since 1966, earning multiple world-first accreditations, permissions and accolades for our excellence on the platform., We now have an opportunity for a Logistics Operative to join us - carrying out warehouse duties ensuring the effective and efficient control of product within Stores. Responsibilities will include:

• Providing a professional level of customer service.
• Ensuring high standards in housekeeping.
• Taking a proactive approach to the daily stores operation.
• Maintaining and reporting local store stock levels and monitor vending activities.
• Ensuring that the working environment is safe for those working in and visiting the store in line with the company H&S procedures.
• Participating in Continuous Improvement activities within the warehouse environment and make suggestions for improvement.
• Assisting any audits, be it internal or by external auditors
• Ensure all relevant procedures and processes are followed and adhered to in line with the Company's procedures and requirements.
• Lead, follow up and resolve customer concerns.
• Ensuring security of the warehouse environment and maintain access control.
• Being a positive member of the team and contributing to the company targets and objectives.
  
  Experience in handling and managing stock within a stores environment
• High levels of attention to detail
• The ability to prioritise tasks based on agreed larger goals
• Excellent communication skills
• Forklift qualification - desirable
• Certified in Dangerous Goods handling and Aviation security- desirable
• Good numeracy skills and computer literacy
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to establish logical practical solutions.
