Full Job Description

Plan and coordinate delivery of materials, plant, and equipment in line with project schedules
Work closely with suppliers, subcontractors, and transport providers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
Monitor stock levels on-site and in storage to prevent shortages or delays
Organise transport routes and delivery schedules to support site operations and minimise disruption
Collaborate with site managers and project teams to meet programme requirements and resolve logistics issues
Ensure all logistics activities comply with health & safety regulations and site rules
Manage delays, shortages, and delivery issues quickly to avoid impact on construction timelines
Track logistics costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inventory, and logistics activities

Essential
Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent)
SSSTS
Traffic Marshall
A qualification in Building Services, Construction Management, or a recognised mechanical trade background.
SMSTS
5 + years' experience in a similar role.
Experience of dealing with multiple sub-contractors as part of complex, multi-disciplinary building projects
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise own workload.
Developed problem solving skills, including the ability to manage conflicting work demands.
Capacity to work independently with limited supervision.
Excellent team player with the ability to lead and develop those within the team
Be able to undertake a continuous review of procedures to achieve and maintain best practice.
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to liaise and advise staff at all levels, both in written and verbal.
Excellent problem solver with the ability to deliver high quality and practical solutions
To be flexible and work as part of a team.
Able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.
Must be very 'hands on' with can do attitude
