Are you someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity and ensuring that everything is exactly where it needs to be, just when it's needed? As part of a newly created Operations and Logistics team within BlueJay (BlueJay Secure Collaboration platform), we have an opportunity for a Logistics Lead, In this role, you will play a critical role in delivering end user equipment to support onboarding events and operational activity in the UK and overseas. You will be part of a collaborative and fast-paced environment, working closely with delivery teams, technical specialists, and customer stakeholders to make sure devices, services and infrastructure come together seamlessly. You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of complex logistics and dependency management activity, working independently while contributing to a wider delivery team focused on quality and service excellence. Our team is based in Farnborough, with occasional travel to other sites as required. To support effective collaboration, our preference would be two days a week onsite, we are also happy to consider a compressed working week. What you'll be doing:
- Managing the end-to-end flow of End User Devices (EUDs), ensuring the right equipment is configured, delivered and ready for onboarding and operational use.
- Tracking and managing key dependencies across onboarding and training events to ensure readiness of infrastructure, user accounts and services.
- Monitoring stock levels, supply lead times and configuration cycles to maintain a continuous and timely supply of devices.
- Leading the planning and coordination of shipments, ensuring security, scheduling and delivery requirements are met.
- Acting as the central point of contact to anticipate demand and align delivery activities with programme plans and customer needs.
- Overseeing performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs), reporting on delivery metrics and driving continuous improvement initiatives. What you'll bring:
- Strong understanding of project management approaches, particularly dependency management, scheduling, and contingency planning.
- Proven experience managing logistics within technical environments involving complex dependencies.
- Background in IT services delivery, with an understanding of integrating devices with infrastructure and platforms.
- Ability to analyse and manage complex data sets to support forecasting, reporting and performance tracking.
- Experience working with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and performance indicators.
- Security Cleared to at least Security Cleared (SC) level. It would be great if you had:
- Client or customer facing experience.
- Understanding of service delivery models and how they apply in operational environments.
- Experience creating reporting dashboards for stakeholders and management teams.
- Experience managing budgets and working to cost, revenue, and margin targets.
- Knowledge of contract management and working within contractual frameworks. Location: Farnborough with hybrid working.
