Full Job Description
We invite you to join us as a Specialist Psychiatrist at Haytor Ward, a new role working alongside a consultant nurse approved clinician (MPAC) or consultant psychiatrist and a cohesive MDT to provide senior medical inputto this adult acute inpatient ward based at Torbay Hospital.

Grow your career - The post holder will be provided appropriate support for developing a portfolio and specialist registration through the portfolio pathway. This includes regular supervisions with the line manager, educational supervisor and the portfolio pathway lead. The trust will fund the first application while submitting the portfolio.

The post holder will be available 9-5 Monday to Friday. The post holder will be based on Haytor Ward, Torbay Hospital.
The post holder will work within MDT and offer assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients on Haytor Ward, inpatient psychiatric service, as well as other expert clinical services in support of patients and their families/carers as judged necessary.
