Locum OMFS Consultant with Sialendoscopy Specialist - 6 Months

Supporting OMFS team at Bedfordshire Hospitals to meet the needs of the Sialendopscopy surgical service.

Providing clinic and Theatre shifts for sialendoscopy patients and provide turnaround support to this specific cohort of patients.

Working with the existing team to deliver Sialendoscopy pathways within RTT targets, Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of all patients presenting to the Hospital.

Teaching and training of intermediate grade and junior medical staff, nursing staff and medical students.

To undertake duties as defined within the agreed job plan.

To actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning clinical governance and audit.

To participate in any on-call rotas providing specialist, timely advice, in line with the seven day working national agenda and local service need.

Participate and comply with the requirements for Continuing Professional Development and revalidation as laid down by the Royal College of Surgeons. The Trust is committed to providing the time and financial support for these activities.
