Summary

This is a great opportunity for those wishing to gain more experience in interventional cardiology.

This post provides interventional cardiology cover as part of the Royal Free Hospital's comprehensive Coronary Interventional Service, including the Heart Attack Centre (HAC), which delivers 24/7 emergency treatment for ST-elevation myocardial infarction, high-risk NSTEMI acute coronary syndromes, out-of-hospital cardiac arrest and cardiogenic shock, alongside a full elective PCI programme. The post holder will contribute to a 1 in 7.5 primary PCI (PPCI) on-call rota, in addition to a Consultant of the Week rota, with off-site surgical cover provided by Barts Health. There is no general medical component to this post. This is a fixed-term post for 3 months, covering the period November 2026 to February 2027.
