Full Job Description

Applications are invited to apply for the role of Locum Consultant in T&O, with specialist interest in Knee surgery. This post is for 8 PA, and fixed term for 12 months. It is anticipated that the successful applicant will have extensive experience in all aspects of knee surgery with a focus reconstruction including osteotomy, arthroplasty and general trauma., The post holder will take an active part in the teaching of junior medical staff, medical students and nursing staff and take part in postgraduate meetings, during theatre sessions/clinics and daily meetings. There will be opportunities to teach students at Surrey University Medical School. The post holder will also be required to participate in an audit.

The post holder will be expected to take an active part in the research programme of the Trust and the Region. They will participate with Consultant colleagues furthering the interests and reputation of the Orthopaedic Department and the Hospital.
