Locum Consultant Surgeon - Maxillofacial

The Maxillofacial Department are looking to appoint a new locum consultant surgeon. We seek a colleague who can demonstrate their ability to work as part of our efficient and cohesive multidisciplinary team and interact well with consultant colleagues, local GPs and dentists. The department provides a wide range of maxillofacial services including oncology, trauma, orthognathic surgery and soft tissue pathology. The successful candidate would join the maxillofacial emergency rota supervising junior doctors on call.

The MFU has a team of specialists providing orthodontics, oral surgery and restorative dentistry as part of dental and surgical MDT care. We have a fully equipped MFU laboratory with highly skilled specialist technicians providing the support for rehabilitation post-surgery and complex care. Clinical support staff including nursing, technical and administration staff numbers are in place to support this post.
