Full Job Description

University College London Hospitals is seeking to appoint a one year-fixed term locum Consultant in Urogynaecology (10 PAs). We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual with experience of Urogynaecology who wishes to join our well-established and dedicated multidisciplinary team. The post holder will play a key role in delivering a responsive and patient centered care, supporting patients throughout their treatment journey while maintaining consistently high standards of care and patient experience. Please note that the job plan included is subject to change depending on theatre and clinic space availabiltiy. The role will include Saturday operating., The postholder will:o Deliver consultant-led outpatient care in Urogynaecology clinicso Deliver consultant-led surgical lists for Urogynaecology patientso Provide assessment and outpatient management of patients with Urogynaecological conditionso Support clinical decision-making, care planning, and appropriate follow-up for patients.o Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team, contributing to MDT discussions.o Contribute to teaching, training, and supervision of resident doctors.o Engage in service governance and clinical audit activities. o Represent the department in internal and external meetings, contributing to service development, clinical guidelines, and best practice.o Work collaboratively across UCLH and WMS sites The successful applicant will join our close-knit team, founded on mutual respect and the delivery of excellence in clinical care. Exceptional interpersonal skills and team working are essential. Clinical care is delivered within a well-established clinical governance framework and our unit has a commitment to data collection, clinical audit, and clinical research.
