Locum Consultant Respiratory and General Internal Medicine (S&O)Company:Company: St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS TrustA Vacancy at Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.Applications are invited for a 12 month fixed term Locum Consultant post in Respiratory and General (internal) Medicine.This is a whole-time post offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Medic to join a dynamic, rapidly expanding team delivering multidisciplinary acute care in Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals.Applicants are required to hold Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK or equivalent qualifications)Due to the short-term nature of the role / service demand, the successful candidate must hold full registration with the GMC and have existing right to live and work in the UK, at the time of application.Candidates who are not GMC registered or do not hold existing right to live and work in the UK, at the time of application will not progress to
the shortlisting stage.An Enhanced DBS with barred lists for both Adults & Children is required for this post.This full time NHS post will enable the Trust to continue the delivery of Respiratory services across the primary/secondary care interface, support delivery of acute care for respiratory patients and achieve waiting time targets for outpatients and emergency care.Successful candidates will complement existing General Respiratory and lung cancer teamWeekday on call commitment. doctor and 1 senior clinical fellows.
