Full Job Description

Maternity Cover- The post-holder will work within an established Head and Neck MDT alongside colleagues in oral and maxillofacial surgery, ENT, oncology, radiology, healthcare science and prosthetics, with joint clinics enabling coordinated patient assessment and treatment planning.

The Oral and Maxillofacial Consultants provide comprehensive services across 3 NHS Trusts which include New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton, Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley, and Manor Hospital in Walsall. All major inpatient work is carried out at New Cross Hospital The service benefits from close integration with an on-site Maxillofacial prosthetics laboratory, providing experienced scientific and technical support, digital surgical planning and in-house 3D printing. Outpatient care and treatment clinics are based at New Cross Hospital, with access to dedicated dental treatment rooms and additional clinical spaces, alongside inpatient and complex surgical activity., We are ideally seeking a locum appointment of 8 Programmed Activities (PAs); to cover maternity leave. There is a requirement for availability on a Monday to support attendance at the weekly multidisciplinary team (MDT) meeting, which is a key element of the role, and Tuesday major Head & Neck Theatre sessions.
