Locum Consultant in Plastic Surgery Specialising in Skin Cancer

We are seeking a Locum Consultant in Plastic Surgery specialising in Skin Cancer to join our supportive and innovative Plastic Surgery team. The successful candidate will provide general plastic surgery services with a particular focus on skin cancer management, working closely with multidisciplinary colleagues across Oxford and Reading.

This post will support the expansion of consultant capacity and elective surgical services within the new Surgical Elective Centre (SEC) at the John Radcliffe Hospital, opening in Summer 2026. The SEC will provide state-of-the-art facilities, increasing surgical capacity and enhancing patient care across Oxfordshire, Berkshire, and Buckinghamshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative department committed to clinical excellence, service development, and supporting consultants in their professional growth., The successful candidate will provide consultant-led general plastic surgery services, with a particular focus on skin cancer, across both the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford and the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading. The post-holder will join an established team of ten Plastic Surgeons and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care.
