Locum Consultant in Paediatric Anaesthesia

Reporting into the Team Lead, your responsibilities will include:

• Provide anaesthetic services to accommodate service expansion, consultant cover and flexibility, and to cover consultants who are on leave.
• There may be opportunity for those with appropriate qualifications to take on additional PICU responsibilities.

We are looking for a Locum Consultant in Paediatric Anaesthesia to join our committed team of 30 anaesthetists. The successful candidate will support service expansion, provide consultant cover and flexibility, and assist colleagues during periods of leave. Sheffield Children's Hospital boasts a state-of-the-art theatre complex with 9 dedicated theatres, a procedure room, and two MRI scanners. Our service portfolio includes regional and supra-regional surgical specialties such as general surgery, urology, neonatal care, orthopaedics (spinal and limb reconstruction), plastics, burns, ENT, maxillofacial, dental, neurosurgery (with intraoperative MRI), and ophthalmology.
